WOW! Knitters are just the coolest bunch of people out there! We have been so overwhelmed with kindness, excitement and positive feedback regarding the latest pattern, Wicked. We want to thank all of you for taking the time to let us know what you think. We'd also like to thank the members of the Sexy Knitters Club who chose Wicked as one of the patterns for their current knit-along. If you're not a member, you should go visit because those ladies are turning out some really beautiful knits.
As many of you may know, we have taken your helpful feedback into consideration and made some changes to our older patterns. Such as adding additional stitch counts and measurements to patterns like Green Gable, and have included this additional information on all of our patterns that have been released since. Since our last pattern was released we noticed a lot of buzz going around about schematics... well, you want a schematic? You got it! Including Wicked, and from now on, our patterns will include schematics.
If it weren't for all of you wonderful knitters, bloggers and store owners out there - we'd be two silly girls just making up patterns for ourselves. This is so much more fun! We love getting to see so many different versions on so many different people, and how some of you make modifications so it will fit your own personal style! And you have no idea how much it means to us when we hear from you. The thank-you's and kind words and pictures that you send are so greatly appreciated and make what we do so worth it!!!
Thank you to each and every one of you that has had a hand in making us what we are today! We *heart* knitters, they're the BEST!
About that contest... we want to put together a photo gallery of customer zephyr knits! So... all you have to do is send an email with a photo of you wearing your favorite zephyr knit. Mail to: zephyr@zephyrstyle.com with "CONTEST" as the subject line. WAIT, there's more... there is another way to win... you can also enter by simply submitting a comment to this post! We will do two random drawings, one from the emails that come in and one from the comments that come in. This is gonna be fun!!!
***please only send photos if you are ok with us placing them in our gallery of finished customer knits!!!
Edited to add: Tee hee, we're new at this contest business and we totally neglected to give a deadline for entries... since we're headed out of town in a few days for a little vacation - we'll go ahead and let the contest run until we get back (March 10th) which is kinda long for a contest... but it wouldn't do anyone any good for it to end while we're gone! So theree you have it... You have until March 10th to send in your comments and or pictures... and if you do both it doubles your chances to win!!!
I've been oogling over your patterns ever since I first saw someone post it on craftster. I love the girly design of all of them, and hope to knit one of them soon. (I barely have enough patience for a scarf). Hopefully I knit one fast enough for this contest!

I love your site and have seen many of your items knitted up. That must mean you are doing a Fantastic Job with your patterns. I am wanting to make "Wicked" so glad you have made the changes and added schematics! Thanks!
ReplyDeleteI've got the yarn for 2 ofyour sweaters and can't wait to get going.
ReplyDeleteI am working on Rusted Root now for the spring. I can't wait to get it done so I can hurry up and wear it. You guys do such a great job.
ReplyDeleteI've finished a Wicked and have made two other Zephyr sweaters, they're just great! I'm going to make Wicked in mohair that is in the stash too.
ReplyDeleteWoo-hoo! I love contests. I'll have to quick finish up my Green Gable sleeves and get a photo!
ReplyDeleteWicked really is such a darling design! I've got the prettiest celery-green Cascade 220 staring at me, telling me to cast on for it already. :)
ReplyDeleteI love my wicked and as soon as I can get a very lazy housemate to take a photo i will send you it!
ReplyDeleteGlee is next on my list to knit - I have a yummy alpaca that's just been waiting for it.
ReplyDeleteI am just pondering which yarn to make wicked in! Great patterns!
ReplyDeleteGreen Gables and Wicked are on my to knit list... Wicked long sleeve or short? Hmmm, how about both!! Keep up the awesome job, love your work!
ReplyDeleteI made both Green Gable and Wicked in January, and am starting Rusted Root as soon as my Knit Picks yarn comes in! I have pics on my blog. Oh yeah - while I'm waiting for the yarn, I've been making Ms. Marigold with a beautiful bamboo yarn.

I've knit two Green Gables (okay one was a Blue Green Gable) and plan on making Wicked.
ReplyDeleteI made ms. marigold a few months back and loved it.
ReplyDeleteTHanks so much!
I've knit 3 Green Gables; 2 for me and one for my mom. I'll have to get the hubby to get a picture of me in my favorite, which I refer to as my Bamboo Gable because I used Bamboo yarn. It's scrumptious!
ReplyDeleteGreen Gable was my first sweater project! I actually just ordered my yarn for Rusted Root, and I'm just waiting for it to be delivered to start on it! Thanks for all of your great patterns!
ReplyDeleteWhilst personally your designs don't fit in with my style (you know how that goes), I am so pleased that you've been so successful!! :) :)
ReplyDeleteooh! i want to be a part of the contest! i've purchased two of your patterns, but have yet to knit either one (i've got a long list of things i want to knit). hopefully soon!
ReplyDeleteI have been wanting to make Wicked for a while - it just hasn't been the right time in my life to do so - but I will especially after seeing the photos of those who have made it already! Great patterns and thanks for being so flexible and willing to make changes. That is what customer satisfaction is all about!
