the move...

...part 1:

dec. 4th, hop a plane with my two little ladies - on our way to our new house.
we cannot fly without Polly...
we have arrived, and our lavender stuck around to greet us.
oh, the anticipation...
And then there was lots and lots and lots and lots of work, scraping and painting and sanding and dusting and cleaning and calling and meeting and negotiating and arranging and contractors coming in and out and in and out, all the while we were staying in a cramped little hotel room, where the little ladies were twiddling their thumbs & fingers...
We managed to squeeze in a birthday party for a very important 5 year old...

and then we waited, and waited for our things to arrive...

Now it's all here and we're trying to get settled in. More to come with lots of house pics and christmas fun. Here's a little teaser, the colors inside...
